About this coffee
Our latest offering comes from a single farm in Nicaragua. It has eleven permanent workers - growing up to twenty-eight during the coffee harvest - and all of them neighbors. They support the community by offering just wages, micro-loans and transportation for emergency health care.
This year, they processed one batch of coffee in two different ways - with both the honey process and the washed process. They’re siblings, but not twins – the honey leans more toward a plummy, sweet, and winey warmth, while the washed is crisper, brighter, with notes of cocoa and pear.
